In 2026 the Adelaide Baroque Quartet presents ‘Enlightened Strings: Quartets in the Age of Enlightenment’. The quartet genre emerged in the Classical era, perfected by Haydn. An intimate and highly refined art form, a musical conversation with dialogue resembling intellectual discourse. The music’s elegance and balance amongst the voices mirrored the Enlightenments values of structure and clarity. Ondeen’s acoustics and atmosphere are a natural fit for the performance and we are so thrilled to host them again after partnering and sell out performances throughout 2025. 
Adelaide Baroque will begin at 5:30, join us in the garden prior for a pre performance drink! Should you want to stay on afterwards a short Chef's Harvest menu will be available in the evening.
