The Weekly Fifty Trivia Night has arrived at ONDEEN.⁠⁠

Hosted by the vivacious Katie Spain, one of South Australia’s most loved food and wine personalities, alongside a rotating cast of surprise guest hosts, each week promises fresh questions, and plenty of fun.

Our weekly trivia night is all about unplugging and spending an evening of laughs, friendly competition, great food, wine, spirits and a classic pen-to-paper quiz amongst the beautiful Adelaide Hills. With prizes to be won for the sharpest teams.⁠

This June, Roaming Zen with Jen and Ondeen come together for one Friday night in the Adelaide Hills. The evening begins with mindful movement and candlelit yin yoga, guided by Jen and inspired by the grounding wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Slow, restorative and deeply settling, the practice is designed to help you release the week and reconnect with stillness.

Then we move to the table. Chef Adam Bowden, whose culinary lineage runs through The Ritz London and Michelin-starred kitchens in Europe, brings his produce-driven craft to a nourishing seasonal winter menu designed for this exact night. Open fires, four small-batch winemakers pouring from the Ondeen cellar door, and the Adelaide Hills growing dark and quiet around you.

This is an evening that begins in the body and ends at the table. Both halves are the practice.

This June, join us at Ondeen for an exclusive one-night-only dining experience celebrating winter’s most coveted ingredient in collaboration with Quercus Truffles.

The evening begins with a truffle martini on arrival, followed by an intimate introduction to the Quercus truffle dog and the artistry behind sourcing these rare treasures from the Piccadilly Valley. Guests will then settle into a thoughtfully curated four-course menu by our Chef’s Team, with each dish designed to honour the depth, perfume and earthy elegance of freshly foraged truffles.

Each course will be paired with wines from our featured wineries, carefully selected to complement the season’s menu. Set against the warmth of winter at Ondeen, this is an evening of exceptional produce, considered wine and generous hospitality.

Ondeen and RIEDEL partner to bring an early start to Winter Reds in the Adelaide Hills.

Hosted by RIEDEL Australia Managing Director Mark Baulderstone, this immersive wine glass experience explores the impact stemware has on wine enjoyment through decades of RIEDEL research and development in varietal-specific glassware. Guests will enjoy three Adelaide Hills red wines from the Ondeen Wine Room, paired with three glasses from the RIEDEL Performance collection.

Following the class, settle in by the fire in the Ondeen Restaurant for a three-course seasonal chef’s dinner showcasing local produce and foraged ingredients, paired with wines from Wicks Estate, Turon and Silver Lining.

Kids will learn to paint Ondeen's resident highland calf Whisky, guided step by step by Georgina. Through colour, texture and expression they will take home their very own masterpiece!

Parents are welcome to book their child into both sessions on the same day, with supervised lunch provided for full-day attendees. Places are limited and bookings are essential.
